The Witches in the East (東の魔女, Azuma no majo; FUNimation "Eastern Witches")were a group of Witches in which went against the Eight Shinigami Legions.[1]

Much of the information on the Witches of the East is unknown, though whatever their ideals and/or objective warranted the attention of seven of the Eight Shinigami Legions.[1]
History
The Witches of the East had a conflict with the Eight Shinigami Legions for unknown reasons. They were later approached by Asura and the entire group was killed off by him alone.[1]
Power
Not much is known about the strength of the Witches of the East, though Death mentioned witches around the time period of eight hundred years ago prior to the founding of the DWMA caused far more damage then they do in the present time.[2]
