I was to make some changes to the Object infobox when I happen to see your request from a month ago on fixing it? Care to explain? And IF you come across any issues, simply let me know directly. Template Talk doesn't quite notify on the Recent Activty out for some reason....
I have uploaded Soul Eater onto to the Cinemorgue wikia. I was wondering if you can help me out by adding in the pictures of the characters killed in Soul Eater onto the respected actors/actresses pages. They already have pictures for the deaths of Little Ogre and White☆Star in the anime.
Hey Soul, i saw your question of FBOF wiki and thought it was better answering your question else wear.
Other people download em, but i liked this Facebook page and read them once they link the chapters there on Wednesdays. Hope that helps.
First, I think the page should exist, so I'm happy to see it. I had some concern about labeling it as "Location," since it is a state of mind more than a physical realm. I did list it in its episode as a Location since it is a setting, so I think that category is fine, especially as it is also categorized as "Madness."
Second, the page will need an infobox and images. We have some images already on the Wiki, I can get some more posted from the Screencaps Tumblr blog.
Third, the page will benefit from proofreading to fix some punctuation.
Apologies for bothering you, but I also noticed you possess the Monotone Princess Guidebook. I've been itching to move Nals's article, so I'm looking for information.
Every Japanese website lists his name as ナルス・ガルニエ, Na(l/r)s Garnier. I have no direct source to confirm it (all direct sources I can find just list him as ナルス), but from blurry photos the guidebook seems to feature a full name, correct? I was also wondering if any roumaji is included, because I'm pretty sure it's Nars (=narcissist) and that's how the Art Book writes it. But if there's anything confirming Nals, then I'd have to rethink it.
I don't actually have the art book myself. I made these revisions based on what I found on the internet, not from the art book itself. However, you seem a bit more steeped into this then I am so I'm open to whatever you think honestly.
I do not see the Guidebook at any point refer to Nals's romanized name. If I do see it, I will yet you know.
I am not yet convinced that "Nars" has to allude to "narcissism." While both words share the same first syllabus, which is enough to list in Trivia, it does not yet persuade me that it is intentional in the original Japanese. I defer to someone who can cite a source; otherwise, I would just state that both words share the same first syllable, and that narcissism refers to Nals's personality.
Same here. And I don't think it even can go into trivia. It's too coincidental and nothing direct llike some of our other stuff on here. I can believe the translation can go between Nals and Nars and whatnot ("Nals" is from the German Soul Eater Wiki too) but beyond that, I'll need a lot more information. Ohkubo has some knowledge of English but he writes to japanese audiences.....
I wasn't going to list it as a certainty, because I can't. Nor can I, if Garnier is indeed his last name, prove that this is a Phantom of the Opera reference. I mean to write it up similar to Killbell, but that still leaves the need to decide on a article title. The Art Book + the possible name explanation provide points for Nars. Are there points for Nals is what I am curious about.
The close similarity between ナル and ナルス makes me lean much more towards including it in Trivia, on the basis that there is an evidence-based argument presented to support this point.
If Garnier could be confirmed as his last name, I agree that it can be listed as alluding to Phantom of the Opera. But that is if and only if Garnier is ever confirmed from an official source.
Finally, there is a difference between saying "This name alludes to..." and "Okubo alludes to...": the former can be an accident and we as a Wiki are not saying whether it is intentional or not; the latter is only intentional, and we cannot prove it (even if Okubo said so, he can troll). Therefore, if we add this content to Trivia, it has to be written as the first, not the second. The first allows us to say there is a connection if readers want to see it; the latter speaks for Okubo, and we are not in the position to do so.
That's why I asked you for guidebok confirmation. Here's a pic that's supposedly from it that reads "ナルス・ガルニエ", and his boss section has the full(?) name too, but with pics like this that I can't contextualize because most text is impossible to read, I don't want to go ahead. So, what does your copy have written down?
Apologies for bothering you, but I noticed your acquisition of the SEN official fanbook over on Tumblr. I'm interested in the contents of the second page you uploaded, the one you went "Gopher?!" on. Is there any text accompanying those two. They're fairly consistently used in the anime (one glaring miscolor moment aside), so I'd been thinking of writing them pages and if there's anything behind the scenes about them, that'd be a nice addition.
The same question goes for the mind-controlling witches whose portraits flank Shaula's. Is there anything on them in the book, or at least the full portraits?
I haven't translated the text for the NOT extras. I think, similar to the NOT students in the girls' dormitory (and who are possessed during the Battle Festival), there is not enough information on these characters that may necessitate creating pages: they lack names, personalities, or extensive histories to give each one their own pages.
Instead, I propose one of two options to still give these characters attention, without creating one page per character. First, the characters could be added to the ancilliary characters page (there is one on this wiki that previously included Excalibur's three children from the anime). Second, the characters could be added for a special NOT Class page; while we have the NOT Class described in curricula on the DWMA (Schooling) page, I would argue that it may be appropriate to spin the NOT Class off as its own page, pending discussion with Jay and other contributors.
No, I did not notice anything about the other witches with Shaula in the manga and the anime. I will have to re-read the book to confirm.
Without arguing whether those two have enough to warrant pages, we do know more of them than of the girls. The black boy is a Demon Weapon. He wore a red tag during the first episode. Similarly, the Japanese boy is a Meister for wearing a blue tag. Based on their consistent interaction/togetherness during all four episodes they appear in (1, 3, 4, 6), it's safe to assume they're partners.
These two are the only "non-characters" of Tsugumi's intro class in the anime and probably created specifically because only eight characters would be a tad few. They don't fluctuate in what they are supposed to be (give or take a serious miscolor in ep 4), unlike some of the other backgrounders (Ox's opponent, for instance, has been used to fill up NOT crowds). This is pretty much why the fanbook page intrigues me, because those two on the same page further suggests some sort of non-randomness.
Again, not saying they deserve a page of their own, but I am very interested in their page just to see if there's some story there.
Wasn't that wiki page deleted at some point? The children and Tom's partner still redirect there, but there's otherwise no trace of that page.
The tertiary character page was deleted by Jay. I would ask them about this deletion and any options, whether that means restorin that page, or creating new pages for each of those characters, along with the unnamed NOT students.
I'll translate the page and pass along any relevant information about those characters.
Of all pages with the students that I found, the only writing is the following:
They are both listed as "NOT Students" in one part. No names are provided. At most, one page lists a category above them and a letter for each: A for the taller black student, and B for the shorter Japanese student. I cannot read the word listed as that category, as it is in small handwriting.
Alright. I wasn't expecting names per se, but had hoped for some sort of explanation/plan. But what is is and what isn't isn't. Thank you very much! If nothing else "NOT student A" and "NOT student B" seem acceptable names to list them under when the tertiary character page situation is decided on.
Would you be willing to upload their character models in the book?
I think the tertiary page will suffice since this is the type of stuff I feel is best suited for this. I deleted it because like If I can describe an appearance, history, name (conjecture or not) and they play a role, or are just mentioned even with a describible history, they warrant a small page. But clearly, this is actually needed.
If you are referring to recent edits, I'm satisfied with many of them, including adding links and changing the gender pronouns for Crona to make the current policy.
Are there other revisions that you made to the page that you would like to discuss? I haven't had a chance to see more of them yet, so a summary of those edits would help me to write a better response.
I agree that there should be a Featured section. Please, go ahead and create one. If you do not know which Screech attack, then just list "Screech Attack ." (Then, we really should make a general page for all the Screech Attacks to be listed.)
Hi! I didn't know exactly where to ask questions, so I decided to try taking a shot by asking you personally. Alright, so in many of the Soul Eater manga's, there is usually a quote on the 3rd page by Atsushi Ohkubo (i.e. Listen to the Beat of the Soul), and I noticed that you guys didn't have these anywhere on this wikia. So here's my request.
Can someone please add these to the website?
I will respect any answer in general and my request, of course, is overall, just a request. It can be either rejected or accepted. Either way, thank you for spending the time to read this, and I look forward to seeing your posts on Tumblr.
I've seen this request before from one of my editors. I don't think there's any major issue in uploading title page quotes. To quickly wrapy this up: Accepted. I do not mind uploading these things to the wiki. I will keep them on the volume pages.
Heyo, I don't know if you recall me editing here as User:ShinigamiKid (or this account) but anyway, I'm not here to tell you about me-- I see you made the tumblr account Fire Dwelling (awesome account by the way, found some hilarious images there xDD) and I was wondering if you'd like to help contribute at the Fire Brigade of Flames wikia~ We're looking for consistent editors and I know first-hand you're a great editor, but of course this is just a suggestion.
