Personality
The Librarian has a propensity to excessively apologize and talk negatively about himself when he can't provide optimal client satisfaction, regardless of the severity of the situation and his level of responsibility.[1]
Appearance
He has brown messy hair and a small mustache. He has a small hat and a grey top with matching pants. His most distinguishable feature is his elongated head with a particularly notable cleft chin. His outfit consists of a drabbish grey hotel or elevator operator uniform, complete with grey fez.
History
The Reunion Express Arc
The Librarian is asked to help find a book by Death the Kid, but after seeing his student ID has to deny the request. Kid is a one-star student and therefore may not read books above Level 1, while what he wants is a Level 4 book. Kid points out that he's Death's son, upon which the Librarian immediately looks for the book. In the end, he can confirm they have it, but it's been borrowed two months prior, not yet returned, and a lousy registration that day means that the client got away with only signing off as "M".[1]
