The katana is one of the most known weapons sported by samurais , shinobis , and characters who generally are affiliated in partaking in assassinations. The katana is characterized by its distinctive appearance; a curved, slender, single-edged blade with a circular or squared guard and long grip to accommodate two hands.
Characters in Soul Eater have been seen using the katana as their weapon (Mifune & Black☆Star) of choice and some Demon Weapons (Masamune Nakatsukasa & later Tsubaki Nakatsukasa) even have the ability to transform into the weapon.
