Merge (合体, Gattai) is a Magic in which allows two or more beings to empower themselves by combining themselves into a singular entity.[1]

Merge allows a group of users the ability to merge all their bodies into one, resulting in greater magical power then the users were individually.[1] This can also be done with a object and a humanoid user.[2]
When used by the Mizune Family, this was achieved with the snapping of fingers, the rhythmically repeated saying of their chant ("chi") which together establishes a beat for the others to follow. After this initial synchronization; they stack themselves atop of each other to form a large tower, where they are then engulfed in a large cloud of purple smoke, with only a single entity emerging.[3]
