Six audio dramas have been released by Square Enix for the manga Soul Eater. Many of these dramas were initially released on CDs packaged with volumes released in Japan.

Soul Eater (Vol. 1): Special Social Studies Field Trip (ソウルイーター(Vol.1) 特別社会科見学 Sōru Ītā (Vol. 1) Tokubetsu Shakaika Kengaku?) was released on August 31, 2005, bundled with with an art book and a script of the CD dialogue.[1]

As the students have a special field trip, there is a secret conspiracy that Soul could not have imagined.[2]

Cast

Of the cast used for this drama CD, only Black☆Star's voice actor, Yumiko Kobayashi, was retained for the anime voice cast.[1]

Soul Eater Drama CD Vol. 1: The Untouchable Thing, focused on Death the Kid, Liz Thompson, and Patty Thompson exploring Franken Stein's laboratory. It was included with the January 2009 issue of Monthly Shonen Gangan.[4]

My Heart Full of Love

Soul Eater Audio Drama Vol 2

Soul Eater Drama CD 2: My Heart Full of Love, focused on Spirit Albarn's attempt to concoct a love potion, using Soul Eater as his guinea pig to see whether the potion would influence Maka Albarn to view Soul romantically.[4]

A Star Is Born

"Soul Eater Drama CD 3: A Star is Born," focused on Black☆Star, suffering from amnesia brought on by head injury, and Tsubaki Nakatsukasa's attempts to bring back his memories.[4]

Additional characters included Maka, Soul, Stein, Kid, Liz, and Patty.[4]

Beware the Sexy Magic!

Soul Eater Premium Drama CD: Beware the Sexy Magic! (お色気魔法にご用心) was included with the April 2011 issue of Monthly Shonen Gangan. In this story, Kim Diehl helps Maka Albarn to look more attractive to Soul Eater. Black☆Star also appears in this story.[4]
